I am a nurse practitioner {as of October 2023!} and a photographer and a part time summer swim instructor. In my next career, they will refer to me as "Olivia Benson." If you ever need something true crime or a documentary to watch, I'm your girl. I live in the pool the minute the water starts to "warm" up in April, and I don't get out until October {my next next career will involve a mermaid tale}. Late night popsicles are never wrong. Christmas tree ice cream should be its own food group. I have won the lifetime achievement award for "most likely to be awkward."

My official motto for photo sessions, "It's going to be awkward, you're going to feel stupid, the more awkward and stupider you feel... the better we are doing."

My first senior class was 2015, and I am forever in debt to these girls. I started Delta Love with no camera and absolutely no knowledge of how to shoot with a DSLR. NEVER in my wildest imagination did I expect to turn my love of capturing memories into something I professionally do for others. God has a funny way of throwing you off balance like that in a fun and beautiful way.

What do I love photographing? All the above. Truly, Narrowing down a specific "niche" is difficult for me. I love my seniors but sometimes the giggle of a 5 year old can make any day brighter.

My favorite part of this journey is getting to know my "Delta Love Family" better with each season. I have newborn photo sessions turn into Delta Love Swimmers. I have seniors turn to brides and grooms. I have had families turn into lifelong friends. Photographing families from the time their kids are in elementary to the time when they are graduating high school. Any chance I have to freeze a special moment in someone's life, I'm all in.

My little Delta Love family means the world to me, so I look forward to getting in touch!

Much Delta Love,

Laney B
